From The Downbeat
Day one of your lessons will earn you the title of Drummer and you will have learned something right out of the gate. We will pursue all types of genres and explore our abilities. I view music as a journey through life that says the things that words cannot say and it is a language that cannot be described. I hope that you will bring ALL of your individuality to the drawing board because that is the very thing that will help you develop your own musical voice. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you.
The Work
I am not going to sugar coat or beat around the bush on this part...we are going to work together! I will say this though. We will both grow and we will have moments of victory that cannot be replaced by other experiences. Your only true competition when it comes to drumming is yourself and what you are willing to work for. For years to come you alone will have the right to say, "I did this!"
The Future Sounds Good
I am committed and excited to see and hear your journey through music continue. My promise to you is that we will have fun and grow together. I have had the pleasure of watching hundreds of students bloom into full fledged drummers and nothing could be more rewarding for student and teacher.

Founder’s Notes
I am so excited about teaching and the joy that it brings to both myself and the students that I have the privilege of interacting with! I began teaching in the Pacific Northwest 10 years ago and moved to Albuquerque just a little over a year ago. My son Noah and I love the beautiful scenery here and are very happy to be continuing the adventure of owning a business as a family. I look forward to every lesson that I have and consider it an honor to pass down any knowlege that I have gained over the last 28 years of my playing/drumming career.
